Brendan Read - Director
Brendan is the founder of Affinity Electrical Technologies a business of which he started at the age of 23, with one van and two staff members. 20 years later, AET Group hosts over 100 staff members and a fleet of 50 vehicles. Brendan’s industry experience has resulted in extensive knowledge and networks, as well as the ability to generate innovative solutions for electrical issues. Growing a business is not without its challenges, however Brendan and AET have remained successful due to the key focus in customer relations and service delivery two features AET is known for excelling in.
Kelvin Aumont - Business Manager/CFO
Kelvin joined AET in March 2013 as CFO following 11 years in senior financial and general management roles at UGL Services/DTZ. Kelvin is responsible for the commercial, financial and operation activities across the AET Group and has been involved in the growth and expansion of the AET Group through the integration of related companies Arrow FM, Arrow Projects and JRC Electrical. With a strong background in Property Services, Facility Management and Outsourcing Industries, Kelvin is focused on ensuring strong stakeholder engagements and a customer focused attitude is maintained across the AET Group. Kelvin is also a Certified Practicing Accountant committed to maintaining strong financial processes and
controls across all areas of AET.
Dean Crapp - Operations Manager
Dean started his electrical apprenticeship back with O’Donnell Griffin in 1982, which he completed four years later. Dean worked his way up the ladder from tradesman, to leading hand, then foreperson onto project supervisor, and finally to the position of project manager. Dean has been a people manager/supervisor for 30 years and uses his extensive knowledge and experience to generate quality outcomes both on-site and administratively. Dean has a keen focus on safety and is part of the Affinity
Electrical Work Health Safety and Quality Committee. Dean expertly prices our civil projects from major traffic light and street lighting installations, while also managing the delivery of these projects through our
Oliver Ross - Accounts Manager
A background in accounting and business management, Oliver joined the AET team in July 2020. Oliver held an accounting positing with Westpac and also spent five years as business manager and accounting officer for a successful swimming pool business in Sydney. Born and raised in Canberra, Oliver enjoys traveling as well as fitness, property investment and martial arts.
Igor Ilievski - Project Estimator
Igor has more than 12 years' experience in the electrical and communications industry, including extensive experience in commercial and large-scale residential projects. Igor has an expert understanding of electrical services and a strong ability to negotiate, mentor and manage people and projects.
Jess Clark - Project Administrator
Jess is friendly and uses her collaborative communication skills to keep projects under control. She joined AET in June 2018 as a junior administrator and has worked her way up the ladder, including as streetlight administrator. Able to balance several tasks at once, Jess is a strong and reliable project administrator.
Terry Wilkins - Storeman/Fleet Manager
Terry started in March 2018 and immediately re-organised the warehouse to better accommodate the growing workloads of the various work groups. Terry is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the fleet and ensures each vehicle is compliant with various work groups. Prior to joining our team, Terry was Operations Manager at Prime Television for 46 years. Terry has a High Risk Work Licence and is a Justice of the Peace.
Samantha Davies - Streetlight Administrator
A bundle of energy, Samatha joined AET in February 2020. She coordinates streetlight maintenance activities with enthusiasm and efficiency. Samantha previously worked in the child care industry and within youth protection services as a case aid. A great communicator, Samantha loves meeting new people, staying fit and healthy, and traveling.
