The 2013 National Multicultural Festival, Indigenous Showcase and the newly returned Fringe Festival were all rolled into one bigger package, with Affinity Electrical to returning for its fourth year as the site temporary electrical setup contractors.

The 2013 National Multicultural Festival is an event unlike any other in the Nation’s capital. The festival boasts up to 250,000 patrons, all congregating for the huge variety of local and international foods, beverages and information.

With AET in command of the delivery, placement, power supply, and distribution of any power requirements for the duration of the entire weekend, AET had the odds stacked against them. Despite the multitude of store holders, stages and the sheer number of general public, AET came together to deliver an outstanding result for the community with a problem free festival.

Once again AET had to liaise with the festivals organisers, store holders, ACT Workcover, ACTPLA and other subcontractors on site to deliver what was required. As always, the safety of the general public was paramount and the number one priority for Affinity Electrical.

Affinity is proud to have been able to complete the works for the event in a manner that was recognised and applauded by the festival organisers. We look forwarded to continuing our support for this great event within Canberra and hope to continue working with festival organisers for many years to come.
